Privacy Policy
This site collects as little as possible. In short: no advertising trackers, no cookies set by this site, and your email is used only for the newsletter you asked for.
The operator named at the bottom of this page is the data controller.
What is collected, and why
Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address (and anything else you choose to give) is stored by our email provider, Kit (Kit.com, United States), to send you the newsletter. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link; unsubscribing withdraws your consent. Kit may record whether an email was opened or a link clicked, to help us understand what’s useful.
Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are read (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Videos. Embedded YouTube videos load nothing from YouTube until you press play. Then the video plays through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com), operated by Google, under Google’s privacy policy.
Purchases. Products are sold through a sales partner (such as Gumroad or Amazon), which acts as the seller and handles payment, tax and delivery under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email and order details for each purchase to support you.
Your settings. If you switch the site to the light theme, that choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us.
Transfers outside the EU
Kit, Cloudflare, Google and our sales partners may process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long data is kept
Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 90 days. Purchase records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to the contact address below. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro) or the authority where you live.
This site isn’t directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
