You should know who pays for what you read.

How this site earns money

• Our own products: Field Guides and art packs in the Shop.
• Affiliate links: some links to books are affiliate links (for example Amazon Associates). If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked in the post.
• YouTube: ad revenue and channel memberships on the videos.
• Sponsors: if a post or video is sponsored, it says so clearly at the top. Sponsors never decide what we conclude.

How AI is used

• The voice is a real human voice. No AI voices narrate the videos.
• AI tools help with research, drafting, editing and production. Every factual claim is checked against the sources listed in the post.
• AI-made images are illustrations only (symbolic, surreal or abstract), labeled where needed, and never presented as historical documents or photographs.
